Within the cycle of artistic actions BooMBeta 2017, Vulnus developed a joint project with Nyamnyam. It was a meeting space in the Gardens of Human Rights (adjacent to Graner) where, after the performance Constantino by Andreu Martínez, the platform Nyamnyam organized a collective action that included cooking dinner. This Dinner-Action was inspired by a question that engages us across the future, present, and past.
Before the performance Constantino, we all cooked dinner together: neighbors, artists, and the Graner team, while offering the neighbors the opportunity to contribute to a small publication about the neighborhood that Vulnus had previously created through a collaborative process with the residents of La Marina.
And you, what do you cultivate?
With this open-ended question, slightly detached from pre-established parameters, the group Vulnus sought anonymous neighbors who responded in their own voice and shared their stories during a shared dinner after the performance. The action was accompanied by a micro-fanzine that gathered contemporary reflections and questions.
To complement the action, Vulnus collaborated with local residents to conduct a fanzine workshop and a publication about the neighborhood titled: “Narrative Archipelago of La Marina.”
