History of the projects boosted by Graner in dialogue with the neighborhood where it is located, La Marina de Port.

From Graner, we join some initiatives that already have a history in the neighborhood or that emerge anew and are incorporated into the cultural agenda of La Marina.

Collaboration with Montjuïc Castle through a support line for creation to decentralize the creation processes in Barcelona and generate new professional opportunities for the artistic sector, promoting dialogue between facilities in the Sants-Montjuïc district.

A program promoted by the Barcelona City Council (Directorate of Community Action Services – DSAC and the Directorate of the Area of Educator City and Culture in the neighborhoods – ICUB) aimed at incorporating or reinforcing the community perspective in different facilities of the city of Barcelona for one year.

Research by Dianelis Diéguez on the notion of community, which explored the potential of the relationships between space and context from the field of knowledge occupied by the performing arts, specifically the Graner space and the place it occupies in its immediate territory.

A collaborative working group that brought together 4 cultural spaces from the neighborhood (Graner, Bàscula, Inefable, and AMCL) to reflect on the intersections between culture, arts, education, and territory.

Research by performer Lucia Di Pietro on temporary disappearance, a performance and social research project by appointment, carried out in the La Marina neighborhood and driven by Graner.

Darrere de la muntanya is the performance that stems from the body of work A quatre potes by nyamnyam, a biennial research project in relation to the La Marina neighborhood.

Collaboration arising from the meetings of the TIAF (Table of Childhood, Adolescence, and Family) in the La Marina neighborhood with the aim of improving youth care.

Community artistic creation program in the neighborhoods of the Barcelona City Council, managed by the Barcelona Institute of Culture, within the framework of Barcelona District Cultural. Graner coordinated and curated two projects within Art i Part La Marina.

Artistic association that links creation, thought, and territory in a transversal way from an interdisciplinary approach. It was a project associated with Graner for three years, developing lines of work with the La Marina neighborhood.

A cycle of artistic activities in the La Marina neighborhood, all of them free and connected to various local entities, curated by Graner, under the initiative of the Pla de Barris and the organization of the Memorial Democràtic Treballadors SEAT.

Collective workshop mediated by Mercedes Boronat, which invited women from the La Marina neighborhood to participate in a process of personal transformation and social cohesion to improve their quality of life, social integration, and personal development.

A project that promotes universal access to participation, education, and artistic professionalization with people with functional diversity. Graner hosted the project with a stable weekly session and at different specific moments for each action.

A community engagement service aimed at children, adolescents, and families, open to the La Marina neighborhood, with which Graner collaborated as a link for the 0-5 parental skills workshops of the neighborhood’s TIAF board and later through regular working sessions with the creator Bárbara van Hoestenberghe.
