This workshop aims to continue exploring the possibilities of the body and its limits within the family and at Graner, based on the research I am currently conducting in a school in the La Marina neighborhood, under the title ‘Your body your teacher’ with elementary school students. The goal is to approach anatomy and get to know the body experientially and with the help of movement. Different movement and play proposals will be offered to scrutinize the body together.
Claudia Solwat develops activities related to body and movement research, teaching, and creation. She accompanies and facilitates creative processes as assistant director and choreography and movement assistant and has been dancing “forever,” moving through different styles and combining it with other studies. (Psychology, Dance Pedagogy, Site-specific Dance, Mindfulness, and Diafreo). She has worked as a dancer for different theater and dance companies and as a creator in various stage projects. She is part of the MOVE ANATOMY collective. This course she is conducting dance sessions with children at the Pau Vilà School as part of Graner’s educational program.
