María Ferrer is a performer and creator. “I have always considered movement, dance, as my first language, the place from which I could have deeper encounters with myself and with others. I believe in dance as a space for freedom, activism, and expression.”
She graduated in dance from the Professional Conservatory of Valencia and pursued further studies at The Place, as well as in Jazz social dances. She holds a degree in Pedagogy (UB) and a postgraduate degree in Performing Arts and Social Action (Institut del Teatre). Currently, she is developing various community artistic projects and creating Vestíbul Errant, a dance piece for young people with Moving!, the result of the IT Social and Community Action award.
