Graner, as a centre for dance and live arts, promotes an education that places the body and movement at the centre of the experience: practising through the body other ways of transmitting knowledge. Thus, the transmission between dance and movement practices within the educational field is at the core of these sessions. Within the centre’s educational programme for the 2025–26 academic year, we aim for these body-based practices to reach the entire educational community in its broadest sense: teachers across all educational stages, students, families, and the neighbourhood.
In these sessions, which are independent from one another, participants share body-based artistic practices in order to discover the proposals of three creators with experience in educational contexts and to create a meeting space between creators and teachers where they can experiment and think together. The hybrid nature of the participants in these transmission sessions—aimed both at teachers interested in live arts and movement, and at artists interested in pedagogical transmission—gives rise to a rich exchange and becomes a highly nourishing interdisciplinary meeting space.
Sessions addressed both to teachers interested in exploring artistic-practice tools and methodologies, and to artists interested in the pedagogical field.
