Aguablanda is Graner’s line of work that gives continuity to the research started with the PEA (Artistic Expansion Project, 2016-18). A space for research / action around the sustainability of the current practice of the living arts. Aguablanda was created as a research program that introduces and contributes new knowledge for the professionalization of the dance and living arts sector.

In 2021 we will support a pilot study by Aguablanda on the call processes for residency programs within dance and living arts in the province of Barcelona. The objective is to approach and compare the reality of 10 public and private institutions to introduce new knowledge about the residency processes and programs that help us to work in a more coordinated way. We think it is interesting to open a debate about how the residency calls are working on a practical, artistic and social level.
