Graner is a dance and performing arts creation centre located in a former light bulb factory in the Marina de Port district of Barcelona. It is a dynamic space that focuses on artistic research and experimentation and engages with the professional, educational, and local communities through action and thought. Graner, a center for dance and live arts, is part of the Fàbriques de Creació program of the Barcelona City Council and is managed by the Mercat de les Flors, in collaboration with the APDC and the ACPDC.
Graner promotes and supports research and artistic creation processes that explore the body, movement, and choreographic language. The main focus of our work is supporting the artistic community, and we also develop programs related to the local area and the educational community, where movement and dance generate action and thought.
Graner is a 1,000 m² space that features four rooms for carrying out creation and research projects in the field of performing arts, including one studio of 240 m², two studios of 100 m² each, and one studio of 42 m². Additionally, the space includes various meeting rooms, a kitchen, and artist residences.
