International cross-residencies with the support of the Institut Ramon Llull 2026

t Graner we run a cross-residency programme to generate new dialogues and channels of exchange for artists at local, national and international levels, always with close support from the different centres involved. International residencies are central to our work on mobility and support for creation. They also allow us to build lasting, meaningful relationships with the international venues with which they are devised, which go on to resonate in other programmes, in the transmission of knowledge, and in Graner’s positioning and recognition abroad.

In 2026 we have built new bridges between international spaces, opening up new avenues of collaboration and strengthening existing ones. This was the sixth consecutive year of cross-residencies with La Briqueterie CDCN Val-de-Marne (Paris), this time with Guillem Jiménez’s residency. We have also collaborated again with CAMPUS PCS (Porto), with whom we set up a cross-residency and who supported Sonia Gómez’s project; with Espacio Checoeslovaquia in Santiago de Chile, with a stay by Natalia Fernandes; and with Santarcangelo Festival in Italy, with Lu Chieregati’s residency. As for new partnerships, we have expanded the cross-residency programme to include Casa do Povo in Brazil (São Paulo), with Joaquín Collado’s residency.

  • Sonia Gómez’s residency at CAMPUS PCS, 20.07–31.07 2026, with the project ELK
  • Natalia Fernandes’s residency at Espacio Checoeslovaquia, 28.08–17.09 2026, with the project Imaginary Bubble
  • Guillem Jiménez’s residency at La Briqueterie CDCN Val-de-Marne, 30.06–10.07 2026, with the project EVERAFTER
  • Joaquín Collado’s residency at Casa do Povo, 03.08–24.08.2026, with the project Lo que no empieza aquí ni acaba aquí, pero tiene su nombre aquí
  • Lu Chieregati’s residency at Santarcangelo Festival, 31.03–12.04 2026, with the project LXS BACANTES – una CoreoGenealogia

The cross-residencies with La Briqueterie CDCN Val-de-Marne (Paris), CAMPUS PCS (Porto), Santarcangelo Festival (Italy), Espacio Checoeslovaquia (Santiago de Chile) and Casa do Povo were carried out with the support of the Institut Ramon Llull, as part of its programme supporting international residencies in the fields of visual arts, performing arts, film, music, design and architecture.
